is there anything i should add to my answer: 1. List the four major categories of technology and give one positive example of each one in your life. (im not sure if these are the four categories:) The four major categories of technology are communication technology, construction technology, manufacturing technology, and transportation technology. Communication technology is used to communicate ideas and information. It transforms information into signals and media messages. Construction technology is used to construct structures for housing, business, transportation, and energy transmission. In other words, it transforms materials and manufactured goods into structures. Manufacturing technology is used to manufacture products from materials, which means it transforms materials into products. Lastly, transportation technology is used to transport people and goods from one location to another. This type of technology uses energy to power vehicles that move people and goods.
