Ms. Sue at the end of my other previous post you said that my book must have that info as well, and this is what the last paragraph of my book says.

Few people dared stand up to this government.(It's talking about the revolutionary government). Danton for ex. was beheaded in 1794. Before his death, he predicted that Robespierre would soon follow. He told the executioner to hold his severed head high so the crowd could look at it. It was, as he said, "worth seeing." Other people who challenged Robespierre even the leaders of sans-culottes were guillotined. It is estimated that over 37 000 people were guillotined during the reign of terror.

Now, I just need help putting this in a shorter form.

Here are the questions you need to answer:

3.Describe 3 events that happened during these years (Reign of Terror).

4.Who were guillotined during the Reign of Terror? How many people in total?

6.What event concluded the Reign of Terror?

Look at these pictures.

Then, close your book and go back over some of the other sites I posted about the Reign of Terror and Robespierre.

Get away from the computer and jot down notes about what you think were the most important events of the Reign of Terror. You must include the guillotine and the people who were beheaded. How did Robespierre die?

Once you've jotted these ideas down, you'll be ready to write answers to these questions in your own words.

I look forward to reading your answers.

4.Who were guillotined during the Reign of Terror? How many people in total?

During the reign of terror more than 30 000 people were guillotined. The aristocrats that didn't fled Paris died in the guillotine. Louis and his wife Marie were also executed by the guillotine. Also the revolutionary court sentenced sentenced thousands to the guillotine. Furthermore Nobility, Commoners, intellectuals, politicians, and prostitutes were all likely to get executed, which they did. Moreover Robespierre himself was executed. Around 40 000 people in total were guillotined.

In the book's final paragraph, it states that during the reign of the revolutionary government, very few individuals dared to oppose it. One such person was Danton, who was executed in 1794. Danton predicted that Robespierre, another prominent figure, would also meet the same fate soon. Danton instructed the executioner to hold his severed head high for the crowd to see, emphasizing that it was worth witnessing. Even the sans-culottes leaders who challenged Robespierre faced the guillotine. It is estimated that around 37,000 people were executed by the guillotine during the period known as the Reign of Terror.
