Fill in the blanks using 3 of these operation signs to complete each number sentence. * + - / (* means multiply) question 1: 12 ___6 ___4 ___ 2=24 question 2: (12 ___ 6) __ (4 ___ 2)=36

  Question 1: All addition: 12 + 6 + 4 + 2 = 24 Question 2: (12 - 6) x (4 + 2) = 36 which leads to: 6 x 6 = 36 or (12 + 6) x (4 - 2) = 36 which leads to: 18 x 2 = 36 These are just trial and error.
