a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a^2 + 1^2 = 6^2

a^2 + 1 = 36

a^2 = 35

a = 5.92 meters

A famous Greek once proved this:

On a right triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the legs.

C^2=a^2+b^2

here, c is 6

a is 1

solve for b.
