if you round the number to the tens place, it is 460
if you round the number to the hundreds, it is 500
could the number be 468 and why

No, it can't be 468 because 468 rounded to the tens place is 470.

The number must be 455, 456, 457, 458, 459, 461, 462, 463, or 464.
