Homework Help Forum: Spanish

Can someone please check my work?
I was in Grade One.
We went to the pumpkin patch.
I got a really big pumpkin.
I tripped while carrying it.
I bit into the pumpkin.
And lost one of my front teeth.
Fui en primer curso.
Fuimos al terreno de calabaza.
Obtuve una calabaza grande.
Tropecé mientras llevaba la calabaza.
Mordí en la calabaza.
Y perdí uno de los dientes.
Checking to see if I got all the corrections. Also, do I need to have "que" after "mientras"?

I would still use Imperfect for the first sentence = estaba en
