develop a hypothesis that could explain why some French farmers were relatively well-off while others were very poor. A hypothesis is a proposed answer, based on actual evidence,to a question.

I need help on this thanks:-)

I assume you're referring to French Revolution times.

What evidence do you have that some French farmers were relatively well off?

  • socials - ,

well, some farmers lived around Paris Basin which had good fertile land, and grew many agricultural products.

  • socials - ,

Probably the rich farmers were those who had inherited large pieces of land. Most of the farmers did not own land, but worked on the farms of others.

Check these sites for more documentation about the farmers.

    The websites were great!

The rich French farmers usually managed to produce alot of agricultural products such as rye, sugar beets, and wheat.

Also the weather their was good as well, which came in help to produce the agriclutural products.

I still need help creating the hypothesis

What do YOU think would be a good hypothesis?

  • socials - ,

If the farmers lived in a region around paris then they would have rich agricultural products.

    Please add to it

I don't think so. Other places in France also had rich agricultural land.

Please read my previous answers and the websites I posted for you.
