Think of three or four modern popular stories. What are their themes? Then choose a Greek myth with the same or similar theme.
What about the story of Pandora's box? Have you read any stories that show how curiosity can get a person into trouble? Or another way to read that story is that Pandora became a scapegoat for the evils of humankind.
