Does anyone have any good morals or ideas for writing a parable?

Think of a story first, then try to weave a moral truth into it.
I often do that when preaching: get an interesting tale, full of excitment, and then focus on the truth of it.
Has anyone tried to get you to steal? There has to be a story in that.
Have you ever spied on anyone and seen something you should not have seen or heard? Make that a story, and weave a moral truth into it.
