Can you help me solve this equation. 6n-(-2n)+8

  6n-(-2n)+8 6n--2n+8 8n+8 8(n+1) n=-1 I hope this is right.

  you wouldn't be solving for n, just trying to simplify the equation: 6n-(-2n)+8 6n+2n+8 8n+8 you can't simplify anymore, so therefore your answer would be 8n+8
