Homework Help: algebra 1

-2/3z=-4/9

i tried to solve, but i keep on getting the wrong answer, and i do not understand what i am doing wrong. please help.

algebra 1 - Ms. Sue, Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 2:42pm
-2/3z=-4/9

z = -4/9 divided by -2/3
z = -4/9 * -3/2
z = 12/18 = 2/3

Check:
-2/3 * 2/3 = -4/9
