Can someone help me with this summary? We read a story in French class, but I have not taken french in a year so I am soo confused... this is my paragraph.. "L'œuvre du sixième jour" dit une histoire du premier chien que dieu a créé. Dieu a dit le chien pour aller à la terre et vit là, mais le chien a voulu vivre avec lui. Dieu a dit non, mais le chien a supplié Dieu (to create someone just like him). Dieu n'a pas voulu parce qu'il a été très fatigué, mais à la fin de l'histoire, Dieu a créé l'Homme. Ce n'était pas aussi bon que Dieu, mais le chien était heureux. I do not know how to say the part in parenthesis in french=( I tried but it does not even look right.

  raconte une histoire.. ...a supplié Dieu (to create someone just like him). Try this: ...a supplié Le Tout-Puissant de créer un être qui lui ressemble.

  Dieu = capitalized, even when it doesn't begin a sentence. Dieu lui a dit au chien d'aller...what is still understood is "de" or preposition which can only be followed by an infinitive, if it is a verb = vivre Dieu a dit que non (indirect discourse) Sra (aka Mme)
