Homework Help: chemistry

How can you tell which mobile phase is more polar in TLC? (hexane/ethyl acetate/ethanol vs. isopropanol/ammonia)? the hexane/ethyl acetate/ethanol travelled up the TLC faster, does this make it more polar?
The TLC is silica gel!
