You can make an arrow one of two ways. ==> or ---->.
When you say "amount of hydrogen" is that amount by volume or amount by mass. I will assume you mean mass.
Convert 12 g Mg to moles. moles = grams/atomic mass.
Using the coefficients in the balanced equation, convert moles Mg to moles hydrogen.
Convert moles hydrogen to grams using grams = moles x molar mass.
