Homework Help: Grade 8 geography

In my atlas it says the largest european city is Moscow. But when you look for Moscow it is un Russia. Russia is a county of Asia.

I am confused!

Most of Russia is in Asia, but the western part is in Europe.

Check this map. Note that the Ural Mountains divide Europe and Asia.
