The only thing I can suggest to you is to find a computer expert who knows how to retrieve data off of hard drives, save it all to an external hard drive (sometimes referred to as a back-up drive, like what Seagate makes), and then use the recovery disk on the hard drive. Yes, it will wipe everything off and start over, so make sure you list the programs you have on their and locate their installation disks, if needed for reinstallation. Then you can put back any data you wish. I'd keep the photos on the back-up drive, though, and not clog up the computer's hard drive with all those memory-hogging files!
