1. kristi jogged for 3/5 of an hr,swam 1/2 of an hr, rode her bike 3/4 of an hr how long did she exercise?=1 7/20
2.the intersest rate on an equity line of credit was 7 7/8% last month this month the interset rate is 10 3/2% how many percentage points has the interset rate inmcreased? 3 5/8

The first one is correct. 1 17/20. If you want to put it into minutes, that is 111 minutes or 1 hour 51 min. Check my arithmetic.
The second one, I think you meant something other than 10 3/2%.

In that case, 3 5/8 percentage points is correct.
