Has anybody read the poem Calgary 2am?

If so, can anyone help me analyze the poem? It seems that it is very confusing and I can not "solve" the poem.

It seems pretty straight forward to me. The poet is depressed by the long, cold winter. But remembers the good things in his life and feels much better.

yeah, the thing is, we have to analyze beyond that, ignoring the fact of just reading it straight forward....
