I need to find the next 3 terms...but I can't figure out what the rule for this!
3, 5, 3 1/2, 4 1/2, 3 3/4, 4 1/4, 3 7/8, 4 1/8...
please help!

Notice the values are oscillating about 4, each time, moving 1/2 way to four, from lower up, and higher down.
Next value will be halfway between 3 7/8 and 4, or 3 15/16,
then the next after that will be halfway between 4 and 4 1/8, or 4 1/16, then the next term
halfway between 4 and 3 15/16, or you do it.
