A bike racer is riding his new bike at Silverstone. The track is 4km long.
a) What is his average speed in m/s if he does a lap in 2 minutes?
b) What is his velocity after one lap?

  • physics - ,

avg speed= distance/time change km to meters, min to seconds.

Velocity is (final position-initial position)/time. Because his final position and intial position are the same, his average velocity is zero.
