Homework Help: 7th grade math

Posted by kat on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:17pm.

so i have this graph paper, and I have to draw a scale drawing of my body on it. my teacher said 3 squares is equivalent to 4 inches. so if one of my body parts, for example my head, is not a multiple of 4, how do I draw it on the paper?
I hope that makes sense.
3 squares = 4 inches, 6 = 8 etc.

for example how would I draw something that is 7 inches?
i'd like to know how to figure that out.
