I get -7/7 but do I need to change this to -1 and why?
slope= y2-y1 / x2-x1
(2,3) (9,-4)

-4-3=-7
9-2=7
yes you do because then you reduce it (unlike this equation, some equations don't reduce)
(-7 divided by 7 equals -1)
