1. sabrina has the following math quiz scores. 19, 24, 25, 17, 13, & 18. find her mean score, to the nearest tenth if necessary.= 13 is this correct?
2. eleven applications for a certain position had the following ages. 32, 33 ,25, 36, 48, 51, 28, 23, 54, 52, 45. what was the median age?=51 is this correct?
3. clay is building a pen for his dog. he plans to make it rectangular in shape & measuring 40ft. by 50ft.. he can buy fencing for $3.75 per ft. how much will the fencing for his dog pen cost? =$187.50 is this correct?

1. 13 is not correct
Mean=(19+24+25+17+13+18)/6=?

2. 51 is incorrect
32, 33 ,25, 36, 48, 51, 28, 23, 54, 52, 45
Sort them out in ascending order:
23,25,28,32,33,36,45,48,51,52,54
The middle number is the median.

3. $187.50 is not correct.
The perimeter is 2(40+50)=180 ft.
$187.50 is almost $1 per ft. The actual cost is $3.75 per foot, so multiply $3.75 and 180 to give the fencing cost.

1. No, it's not correct. Add the six scores and divide by 6 to find the mean.

2. Wrong. The median is the middle number when you arrange the ages in numerical order.
