Two consecutive angles of a parallelogram have measures 2(x+12) and 2(5x+6) respectively. Find the measures of the angles.

This question has the identical structure as the one I just answered for you.
Surely you can follow that example.
Let me know what answer you got.
my answer is x=5 is it correct?

no,
when subbing that back in you would get angles of 34 and 62, which obviously do not add up to 180 as they should
How did you possibly get x = 5 ?
This is what I did 2(x+12)= 2(5x+6)
2x+24+10x+12
12x=60
x=5
If not correct cn u give me the right one?...tnx
Try it exactly the same way as the other one
2(x+12) + 2(5x+6) =180
2x+24+10x+12 =180
12x+36=180
12x=144
x=12
which gives 48 and 132 as the angles.
