i've got a question that i need help on
what problems could occur if scientists didn't communicate the results of their investigations

There are several answers, I'm sure; however, one problem is that duplicate experiments would be conducted by others. That is, if I don't know that you have investigated and found the formula for the half live of an element, then I must conduct experiments to find the half live of that element if I want to know it.
