i've got another problem

the question is

which counting numbers are also whole numbers

i read this part in my book
(the set of whole numbers does not include any numbers less then zero)

so would it mean the numbers 1- 9 that are the whole numbers

The names counting number is not exactly widely used, and agree on what it means.

Most folks would say counting numbers are 0,1,2,3,4,5,..... and whole numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,....

But, I wouldn't make a big issue on the distinction, as many have differing definitions.

There is an entirely, but separate issue, with the number "zero". Don't lose sleep over it.

The answer to your question is "natural numbers." Natural numbers are also sometimes called counting numbers.

To arrive at this answer on your own, you can follow these steps:

1. Start with the concept of counting numbers. These are the numbers that we typically use for counting, such as 1, 2, 3, and so on.

2. Next, consider alternative terms that may be used to refer to counting numbers. One commonly used term is "natural numbers."

3. Use resources like math textbooks, dictionaries, or reliable online sources to confirm that "natural numbers" is indeed another name for counting numbers.

By breaking down the problem and considering alternative terms, you can arrive at the answer to the question.
