Homework Help: Social Studies

I am in sixth grade and i received a summer reading assignment. I have to read the book "The Watsons Go To Birmingham-1963". I have read the book and now I have to write an essay explaining two acts of discrimination that the characters went through. I have found one act of discrimination and that was when the Church was blown up to prevent the Negros from going to school.
