i'm stuck on this question:
After World War II, farming, fishing, and other food production activities became large scale enterprises which caused
a decrease in economic development.
American diets to become less diverse.
the over producing and over consuming of food.
a decrease of global trade with other countries.
this is what i read:
After World War II, farming, fishing, and other food production activities became large-scale enterprises. The modernization of transport and communications, as well as the emergence of food-processing and food-packaging industries, made it possible to extend food trade on a global scale. After the expansion of the industrial trade, American diets became more diverse

It's obviously not the first answer because your text stresses food processing and packaging industries.
The second is also obviously wrong -- directly opposite of what your text says.
The fourth is also directly opposite to your text.
Therefore, it must be the third answer. We over-produced food, making it cheaper, and enabling people to buy more food.

I agree with you, there is no right answer, according to that reading.
