Start by converting 2 3/4 to an improper fraction. (3+2*4)/4 = 11/4
Divide 11/4 by 1/2. (11/4)/(1/2) = (11/4)*(2/1) = 11/2.
Convert back to a mixed number. 11/2 = 5 1/2.
