How would I cite a document from the UNEP website? (PDF document)

APA style?
I've been looking but it looks like you have to cite it a special way? Is this true?
I cannot personally find the, "session" or etc. It is a document evaluating the environment, not a resolution document.

help please.

If it tells you in the document:

Citation: AMAP/UNEP 2008 Technical Background Report to the.............

Is that usable?

No, it's not.

Here is a really good website for APA guidelines:
http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/
Go all the way to the bottom and click on #10 in the list -- Reference List: Electronic Sources.

You will need the author of the article, the title of the article, etc., including the entire URL (web address) that ends with .pdf.

Hi! Quick question that's completely off topic. Do you know how

to make your site mobile friendly? My web site looks wedird
when browsing from my apple iphone. I'm trying to fnd a template or plugin that might be able to fix this problem.

To cite a PDF document from the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) website in APA style, follow the guidelines below:

1. Start with the author's name. If the document has an individual author, list their last name and initials. If there is no individual author, you can use the organization's name as the author.

2. Provide the date of publication. If the publication date is not available, use the current year or provide the date the document was last updated.

3. Next, include the title of the document in sentence case. If the document is a report or a specific section of a larger document, include this information in square brackets after the title. For example: [Report] or [Brochure].

4. Specify the name of the website, in this case, UNEP. If necessary, include the URL of the website, preceded by "Retrieved from".

5. Finally, if the document has a specific section or page numbers, include this information at the end of the citation.

Here is an example of how the citation would look like:

AuthorLastName, AuthorInitials. (Year). Title of Document [Report or Brochure]. Retrieved from Website URL

For example:

UNEP. (2019). Evaluation of the Environment: A Comprehensive Study [Report]. Retrieved from UNEP website: https://www.unep.org/documents/evaluation-environment-comprehensive-study

Please note that if you are unable to find specific details like session number or resolution, you can exclude them in the citation. The key is to provide as much information as you can find to help others locate the document.

Remember to adapt the citation based on the specific document you are using and ensure to double-check your citation against the official APA style guide if needed.
