Homework Help: U.S. History to 1865

What are some strenghts and weaknesses of the Confederation Government? Here is what I have: Strengths: Strong Central government. Weaknesses: taxation, trade, military, foreign affairs, very difficult to amend, essentially made the United States into 13 separate entities, with their own currencies, no union. Can someone please help me with the strengths. I keep finding weaknesses but nothing about strengths. Thanks.
