Homework Help Forum: 10th grade
Posted by 16 years not doing well in high school on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 9:07am.
Im 16 years old im not actually really doing well in school. I cut way too many classes till this point have 5 overall credits. My guidance consuler told me that i have to take another year and this upcoming summer school i can't go cause i have way to many cuts.
I really want to get back on track and get somewhere in my future where i feel comfortable what im doing. What can i do?

Talk to your guidance counselor. Make it very clear that you know you have done very badly and are sincere in wanting to do better. Get suggestions as what to do. If you have the opportunity to go to summer school, that will help you get credits. You might have an ROP program at your school. There you work and get credits, as well as experience that you can put on a resumé. NOW is the time to get back on track = the sooner the better.
