Homework Help Forum: trig

It's in sigma notation, so I'm not sure how to type it. I'll just use E lol.
Find each sum.

E (n+1)/(n+2)
n=1
Is this a geometric or arithmetic series? That is pretty much all I really need to know.

The sum would be 2/3 + 3/4 + 4/5 + 5/6 + 6/7 + 7/8, whatever that is. I don't believe it is either arithmetic (constant difference) or geometric (constant ratio).
