outline following achievement for Olaudah Equiano, I've got:

Olaudah Equiano was a member of the Ivo people in Africa. He was sold to English merchants at age 11 who sold him in Barbados. He educated himself and eventually purchased his freedom-rights. He travelled widely and joined the anti-slavery movement in England. He later recorded and published the story of his life. His account helps everyone today learn about the horrors of slave trade.
