We usually don't use any preposition. We say: Korea lost the soccer game by 1 to 2.

Thank you.

What about the following?

1. Korea was defeated at the soccer game by Japan by 1:2.

2. Korea ws defeated in the soccer game by Japan by 1:2.

(Which preposition should be used? Are both OK here?)
