Homework Help: English

When writing a essay for a final test, I have read it is best to cite sources from history and literture. Are there any other resources that can be drawn from like current events, television and music or should I stick to sources relevant to educational stbjects?

You can use current events, television, and music as long as you can reasonably cite them, either in the sentence itself or in parenthetical citations. But I'd make them few and far between. The majority should be from sources you've studied in that class.
