The laws of thermodynamics are obeyed everywhere. I don't know what you mean by an "example" of it.
The formation of bubbles when a charged particle of high energy goes through superheated liquid hydrogen in a bubble chamber is an example of an irreversible process. Thermodynamics can be used to describe how they work.
