Homework Help: math

Posted by Trevia Smith on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2:31pm.

I am helping my daughter with this proportion problem. The book says the answer is x = 112. I cannot figure how that is. Here it goes

x/168 = 66 2/3 /100

That is x over 168 is equal to 66 2/3 over 100.
