Solve for x if 125^3x-1=25^x+4

**bobpursley**, Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 4:53pmI assume it is really this:

125^(3x-1)=25^(x+4)

take the log base 5 for each side.

(3x-1)Log5 125=(x+4)log5 25

3(3x-1)=2(x+4)

I assume you can take it from there.
