for the points (a,b) and (c,d) the midpoint is ((a+c)/2, (b+d)/2)
so midpoint of PQ = ((3-1)/2,(2+4)/2) = (1,3)
for #2
let B be (a,b)
then isn't (a+3)/2 = 1/2
and (b+7)/2 = 6 ?
solve for a and b
