Allí hay muchos aparatos eléctricos en mi casa. Hay un bombillo en cada cuarto. Pero hay que repararlos porque no encienden. Hay un horno y un lavaplatos en la cocina. Hay un ventilador en mi dormitorio, pero yo no lo enciendo porque me gusta ahorrar la electricidad. En el lavadero hay también se necesita reemplazar la (una?) lavadora porque no funciona.

I had to go back to a prior paragraph to see what the English was for the last sentence. That one needs to be fixed.

In line 3, it's slightly better to use the passive = porque no se encienden.

As for the last: En el lavadero hay también una lavadora pero se necesita reemplazarla porque no funciona.
