What is 3X^2-7=11

  • 10th Grade Math - drwls, Monday, May 4, 2009 at 5:56pm

    It is an equation.

Are you supposed to find the value of X?

    If so, try starting with
    3X^2 -18 = 0
    which is equivalent to saying
    X^2 - 6 = 0
Try factoring it, to get the value of X.
