Solve for x

5/3 / 4/3 = x / 20/9
x= 25/9 =2.77777....

5/4 = x/3
x= 15/4 = 3.75

20/36 / 21/x
x= 189/5 = 37.8

x/6 = x+1 / 9
x= 2

Tell whether the lines are parallel based on the given proportions
(I think they are supposed to come out equal in order for the lines to be parallel)

16/4 = 8/2
32=32
yes, the lines are parallel

10/4 = 12.5 / 5
50 does not equal 5.1, therefore no, the lines are not parallel

15/34 = 16/35
525 does not equal 544, therefore no, the lines are not parallel

12/9 = 20/15
180=180
yes, the lines are parallel

Are my answers correct?

yes, except

20/36 / 21/x
x= 189/5 = 37.8

seems to have a typo, no original equation
