For the sentence that starts with, "Luego" I think it could be
Luego yo trato de estudiar y hacer mi tarea...
i'm not positive about the trato
It is a bad idea to write it out in English first and then try to translate it literally or word-for-word. SIMPLIFY what you are trying to say and use the grammar and vocabulary you have mastered.
