I asked a question about reliable sources yesterday. My problem is I am having trouble putting the ERIC site into APA format on my reference page. The city and state is not listed on the page. Could someone help please.

Scroll almost all the way to the bottom of this webpage to see a sample reference page.

I think you'll be using the next to last sample reference (author is Plonsky) to model your ERIC reference after.

Let me know.

If that doesn't help, one of these might:

Of course, I'd be happy to help you with formatting the ERIC site in APA format for your reference page.

When the city and state are not listed on a website, you can replace that information with the phrase "Retrieved from" followed by the URL of the specific page you are citing.

Here's an example of how you can format the reference for the ERIC site:

AuthorLastName, AuthorFirstNameInitial. (Year). Title of the document. Retrieved from URL

For instance, if you were referencing an article titled "The Importance of Reliable Sources" from ERIC, and the author's name was John Smith, and the article was published in 2021, your reference entry would look like this:

Smith, J. (2021). The Importance of Reliable Sources. Retrieved from https://eric.ed.gov/doc/123456789

Make sure to replace "AuthorLastName" and "AuthorFirstNameInitial" with the actual author's last name and first initial, and "Title of the document" with the actual title of the article or document you are referencing. Also, replace "URL" with the specific URL of the page you are citing.

Remember to alphabetize your references by the first author's last name on your reference page.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
