The length of a rectangular parking lot is 4 times its width w. The perimeter of the parking lot is 450 feet. Write an equation for the perimeter.

Okay, so your basic equation for perimeter is P= 2l + 2w

So if your l=4w, then you're just going to substitute your values-> P=2(4w)+ 2w
