Pick any two points to calculate the slope as 2
(or notice that for every increase of 1 in the x, the y increases by 2, so rise/run = 2/1 )
so equation is y = 2x + b
plug in (5,0)
0 = 2(5) + b
b = -10
so
y = 2x -10
then if x=12
y = 24-10 = 14
