The function is compressed horizontally by a factor of 1/3 (or stretched vertically by 3)

y = 3 x

Translates 2 units up

y = 3x+2

reflects over x axis

y = -(3x+2)

stretch vertically by 2

y = -2(3x+2)

down 5
