Homework Help: science

Posted by Sam on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 7:10pm.

The Tundra is a biome that can be found around the arctic circle. The Tundra includes northern Asia, North America, and Greenland. The word Tundra is from the finnish word for barren or treeless land. The Tundra has very poor soil due to permafrost, permanetly frozen sub-soil. Because of the permafrost only small bushes can grow there.

Does this sound okay? I am suppose to write a paragraph explaining the tundra.
