General Motors is currently negotiating with the Obama Administration for federal assistance. Should the Obama Administration force General Motors to renegotiate its union contracts, including benefits for retirees, as a condition for receiving federal assistance? should the government impose any other restrictions on General Motors as a condidtion for receiving federal assistance?
